Skipton’s Sheep Day is a day not to be missed!

WOW!! What a fantastic day out! This is a once a year only event but most definitely worth the visit. It’s extremely popular with everyone as you will have seen if you came along. If you didn’t, then you really shouldn’t miss out next year!

It was super busy all day long with so many different things happening throughout the day including music, dancing, a mini fairground, the amazing sheep show itself and lots more. There were also loads of amazing stalls offering all kinds of delights.

Market Stalls

Please find below just a short list of some of the stalls that attended –

Angel Heart & Lavender Gifts

This small business sells the most amazing lavender scented gifts and I’ve bought a few items from this lovely lady.

Paula Beaumont Adventures

15 Low Green, Darley, Harrogate HG3 2QA

A fantastic photographer who I purchased two amazing photographs of the Yorkshire Dales from.

Aroma Botanica

Settle, Yorkshire

They make beautiful aromatherapy products and I simply had to purchase a few of their gorgeously scented bath bombs.

Flower Crown Magic

50 Limbrick, Blackburn, BB1 8AB

They make very pretty flowercrowns, floral headbands and headpieces, fabulous for children but also for grown-ups too if you so desire.

The Idle Bakery

14 Bradford Road, Bradford, BD10 9PP

Selling high quality, fresh and natural home-made food including pates, spreads, salsas & sauces and several different varieties of sour dough bread. I just had to buy one of those now didn’t I?

Tom Holmes Photography

Skipton, North Yorkshire

This is one of my favourite local photographers and, even though I didn’t purchase anything from him on the day, I have bought pictures from him before. I can highly recommend Tom!

Keelham Farm Shop

21 Gargrave Road, Skipton, BD23 1UD

A fantastic farm shop where you can buy locally sourced, high quality, fresh food and drink.

There were so many others besides those above including lots more food stalls too. I’m sorry that I’ve only been able to mention a few. If you didn’t attend this year then I hope you’ll be inspired to do so next year. You won’t be disappointed!

For those of you that did go, how did you find the event? Did you enjoy the day? Did you purchase anything? More importantly, will you be back??
