The Corner House Cafe1 Garrs Lane, Grassington, Skipton, BD23 5AT
What an amazing little café I dropped into on Wednesday! Set in the rather lovely village of Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales, The Corner House Cafe Grassington is rather cute, slightly quirky and very, very cosy.
It’s tucked away on a corner but it’s not hard to find at all. It looks rather lovely from the outside I must say and as soon as I walked in I felt right at home. ‘Smallish’ it might be but it’s certainly not lacking in great food, friendly service and a warm welcoming ambience. There’s two rooms and they’ve even got a real fire which just happens to be one of my favourite things. 🔥 😍
Delicious food on the menu
This is a family run business (recently turned 5 years old) owned by Sarah and her husband Declan (a chef 👨🍳 for over 30 years). They are both extremely friendly people and I can certainly vouch for Declan’s food!
I had a delicious potato, leek & Wensleydale cheese soup followed by a lovely bacon bloomer (with stacks of bacon I might add) along with a latte – an absolutely wonderful meal! I even took home a delicious piece of cake for later which was heartily enjoyed I can tell you. 🍰 😍
They also offer a great range of high quality seasonal meals, snacks & homemade cakes including gluten free & vegan options – so no-one misses out here. 😉
They’re open every day from 10am – 4pm and last orders are at 3.30pm. There are high chairs available for the little ones and they even have a box of games & activities for children to keep them occupied. Being dog friendly 🐕 and the fact that muddy boots👢 🥾 are also welcome makes it a fabulous place to stop for a bite to eat and drink.
Well I certainly can’t wait to take hubby along for lunch one day. I’m sure he will enjoy it just as much as I did.
Have you been to this cute quirky cosy cafe? If not then I urge you to give them a try – you won’t be disappointed! 😃
